Bedfordshire Local History Association 'urgently requires more articles' for its periodical History in Bedfordshire, so that it can be published more regularly. Articles of around 1,700 words (less if photographs are included) will fill two pages. Shorter articles will also be welcomed and longer articles can be published in parts. A centenary history of the WEA in Leicester has been published to celebrate the founding of the Leicester Branch of the Workers' Educational Association in September 1908. The book has been researched and written by members of the Leicester WEA 'Hands On Local History' class and edited by their tutor, Cynthia Brown.
